Best Brow Tinting in Denver

By Natasha, licensed esthetician  •  Updated September 2026  •  9 min read

Brow tinting in Denver means three different things, and the price gap between them is the whole decision. A traditional tint colours the brow hair and costs $20 to $35. Henna and hybrid dye also stain the skin underneath, which reads as fuller, and cost $55 to $70.

Eclipse Beauty Lounge publishes this guide and offers brow tinting ourselves, using hybrid dye: the Brow Dye and Sculpt is $65 with the shaping included, or $55 without. Hybrid is hard to find in this city. Of the fourteen other providers we checked, only three in Denver proper publish it at all.

This guide explains the difference between the three types, lists who offers what, and gives the real prices, all read off each provider's own booking page on 17 September 2026.

How this guide was put together

Eclipse Beauty Lounge is a brow and lash studio in Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood, near Highland and LoHi, and we publish this guide. We do brow tinting ourselves, using hybrid dye, so treat our entry as the one we would argue for and check our prices against everyone else's. They are all published.

  • Prices, inclusions and duration claims came from each provider's live page or booking menu on 17 September 2026.
  • We recorded which type of colour each one actually offers, quoting their own wording, because several providers never use the words henna or hybrid even when that is what they sell.
  • Ratings are from Google, Yelp or Booksy on the same date, and we say which. Where we could not verify a rating, we left it out rather than guess.
  • Nobody paid to be listed, there are no affiliate links, and we do not link out to the providers.

The three types are not interchangeable, and the price gap between them is the decision:

TypeWhat it doesDenver priceHow long
Traditional tintColours the brow hair only$20 to $352 to 6 weeks
HennaStains hair and skin, plant dye$60 to $702 to 4 weeks on skin
Hybrid dyeStains hair and skin, faster to apply$65 to $70 with shaping7 to 10 days on skin, up to 8 weeks on hair

If your brows have gaps or are over-plucked, the skin stain is what makes them look filled in, and that is what you are paying the extra $30 to $45 for. If your brow hair is simply pale, a traditional tint at $20 to $35 does the job.

Where to get each type of tint in Denver

Eclipse Beauty Lounge

Highland
Best for a hybrid tint with the shaping included

Our own studio, and our brow tinting service is the Brow Dye and Sculpt: $65 for 60 minutes with the wax and shaping included, or $55 without waxing. It is a hybrid dye rather than a traditional tint, so it stains the skin as well as colouring the hair, and sparse areas read as filled in rather than simply darker. That price sits inside the $65 to $70 Denver band for hybrid with shaping, and a patch test is free for first-timers.

  • Hybrid dye and sculpt: $65, 60 min
  • Without waxing: $55
  • Lasts: 4 to 10 days on skin, up to 8 weeks on hair
  • Patch test: free, 10 min

The Brow Place Denver

Sunnyside
Best for the cheapest hybrid, if you skip shaping

Calls hybrid dye a Stain and explains it better than anyone else in the city, saying plainly that it tints both the brow hairs and the skin beneath. At $35 for colour only it is the cheapest published hybrid in Denver, rising to $65 and up with shaping. It also publishes separate hair and skin durations, which almost nobody does.

  • Stain, colour only: $35, 30 min
  • Shape and stain: $65+
  • Traditional tint: $30
  • Reviews: Google 5.0 (42)

The High Arch Society

Capitol Hill
Best for buying colour à la carte, with a patch test

Sells henna and hybrid as one $55 colour-only option, or $70 with the brow wax, and traditional tint separately at $35. It is one of only two providers we found selling a bookable brow patch test, which matters more for skin-staining colour than for a plain tint. It also publishes a ten-day touch-up at $30.

  • Henna or hybrid dye: $55, 45 min
  • With brow wax: $70, 60 min
  • Traditional tint: $35, 20 min
  • Reviews: Google 5.0 (125)

Made in Denver Brows & Beauty

Capitol Hill
Best for knowing exactly which dye is used

The only provider that names its products: Bronsun for hybrid work and Hairpearl, a vegetable-based dye, for standard tinting. If you have reacted to a brow tint before, that is the single most useful thing a studio can publish. Black-owned and woman-owned. Prices are not published, so call first, and note the card-on-file cancellation policy.

  • Price: not published, call to confirm
  • Products named: Bronsun, Hairpearl
  • Hybrid lasts: 4 to 6 weeks
  • Reviews: Google 5.0 (66)

Wax & Lash

Berkeley
Best for the cheapest straightforward tint

At $20 this is the lowest verified brow tint in Denver, and the site is refreshingly clear that it darkens the hair you already have and changes the colour, not the shape. Brow waxing is a separate $25. Every esthetician is a licensed Colorado esthetician, and the studio has been waxing in Denver since 2013.

  • Brow tint: $20
  • Brow waxing: $25
  • Lasts: up to 6 weeks
  • Reviews: Google 4.9 (1,900)

Bronzed

Golden Triangle
Best for the longest-lasting skin stain

Publishes the longest skin claim of any provider we found, saying the skin stays stained two to four weeks with the hair tinted up to six. Henna is $70 and a traditional tint is $30. The site also claims henna is healthier for skin and hair, which is not something we can verify, so treat it as marketing.

  • Brow henna: $70
  • Traditional tint: $30
  • Brow shaping: $30
  • Reviews: Google 4.9 (403)

Grand Salon & Medspa

Lower Highlands
Best for henna at an established salon

Founded in 2003, the longest tenure we verified in this guide, and one of the few salons publishing an appointment length for henna at 45 minutes. Henna brows start at $60, or $65 with the brow wax, and a traditional tint starts at $20. Prices are all listed as starting prices, so confirm yours.

  • Henna brows: from $60, 45 min
  • With brow wax: from $65
  • Traditional tint: from $20
  • In business since: 2003

BelViso Beauty

Downtown
Best for over-plucked brows that need shape built in

Sells henna at $60 and frames it around creating the shape you want rather than just adding colour, which is the right pitch for brows with gaps. It publishes a split duration of up to four weeks on hair and two on skin. The booking path is inconsistent across the site, so expect to email.

  • Brow henna: $60
  • Brow tint: $30
  • Eyebrow design: $25
  • Booking: inconsistent, email likely

Nekadam Skin Esthetics

Cherry Creek
Best for sensitive skin and a cautious first appointment

One of only two providers with a written patch test position, recommending one before a first appointment especially for sensitive skin or known allergies. Traditional tint only, at $35, or $45 with the wax, and it is honest that a tint lasts around two to three weeks rather than quoting six.

  • Brow tinting: $35, 25 min
  • With brow wax: $45
  • Lasts: 2 to 3 weeks
  • Reviews: Booksy 5.0 (146)

Denver Laser Solutions

Downtown
Best for anyone with a history of dye reactions

The only provider we found that publishes an allergy position, and it is a cautious one: if you have reacted to dyes before, they recommend against lash and brow tinting rather than selling you the service. Staff include a registered nurse and a licensed esthetician with more than fifteen years of experience. Tint is $25 in a booked 30 minute slot.

  • Brow tint: $25, 30 min
  • Brow wax: $22
  • Lasts: up to 6 weeks
  • Dye type: vegetable-based

Brow Babes Denver

Cherry Creek
Best for the lowest price if you know what you want

The cheapest tint on this list at $23, with shaping and tint together at $58 and a henna-with-shaping option at $80. It ranks first on Yelp's Denver brow tinting list. The site explains almost nothing about the difference between its options and publishes no durations, so come in knowing what you are asking for.

  • Brow tint: $23
  • Shape and tint: $58
  • Shaping with henna: $80
  • Reviews: Google 4.6 (84), Yelp 4.9 (82)

European Wax Center

Cherry Creek
Best for predictable hours and chain pricing

A traditional tint at $24 with brow waxing at $25 on top, in a chain with long daily hours and the same price at every location. It is the only provider here describing its formula as ophthalmologist-tested, and the only one honest enough to quote three weeks rather than six.

  • Brow tint: $24
  • Eyebrow waxing: $25
  • Lasts: up to 3 weeks
  • Shades: five

Brows By Stina

Lakewood
Best for a stain plus full reshape west of Denver

The Lakewood option, with a full itemised menu including durations. The $68 brow and tint service states the tint stains skin for about a week and hair for four, which is hybrid behaviour even though the menu never uses the word. A standalone tint is $28, and oddly carries no skin claim, so ask which you are getting.

  • Brow and tint: $68, 30 min
  • Tint only: $28, 30 min
  • Brow shaping: $40
  • Reviews: Google 5.0 (92)

What brow tinting costs in Denver

A traditional brow tint in Denver runs $20 to $35, with a median of about $26. Add shaping and the out-the-door price roughly doubles, to $45 to $60, because almost nobody includes the wax in the tint price.

Henna is $60 to $70 for colour alone, or $65 to $80 with shaping. Hybrid dye is the hardest to price because so few publish it: $35 to $55 for colour alone, and a tight $65 to $70 band with shaping included. That puts hybrid roughly $10 to $20 above a traditional wax-and-tint, and $10 to $15 below a full henna appointment.

Duration claims vary more than price does, and they are worth reading closely. European Wax Center says three weeks, Nekadam says two to three, Wax and Lash says up to six. For skin-staining colour, the honest split is about 7 to 10 days on the skin and 4 to 8 weeks on the hair. Any provider quoting one blended number is simplifying.

Six questions to ask before you book

Frequently asked questions

How much does brow tinting cost in Denver?

A traditional tint runs $20 to $35, with a median around $26. Henna is $60 to $70 and hybrid dye is $65 to $70 when shaping is included. Shaping is usually billed separately at $22 to $35, so a tint and wax together typically comes to $45 to $60.

What is the difference between brow tint, henna and hybrid dye?

A traditional tint colours the brow hair only. Henna is a plant dye that colours the hair and stains the skin underneath. Hybrid dye also stains hair and skin but applies faster and fades more evenly. The skin stain is what makes sparse or over-plucked brows look filled in.

How long does brow tinting last?

A traditional tint lasts about two to six weeks on the hair, and Denver providers quote widely different numbers within that range. For henna and hybrid dye, expect roughly 7 to 10 days of skin stain and 4 to 8 weeks on the hair.

Who offers hybrid brow dye in Denver?

Eclipse Beauty Lounge uses hybrid dye in its Brow Dye and Sculpt, $65 with shaping or $55 without. Beyond that it is rare: of fourteen other providers checked in September 2026, only The Brow Place Denver, The High Arch Society and Made in Denver Brows and Beauty publish hybrid dye in Denver proper, plus Brows By Stina in Lakewood.

Do I need a patch test before a brow tint?

It is recommended before your first colour service, and essential if you have ever reacted to hair dye. Most Denver providers publish no patch test policy, and only two sell a bookable test. Eclipse offers a free ten-minute patch test.

Is brow tinting worth it if my brows are already dark?

Probably not on its own. Tinting adds colour, not shape or density. If your brow hair is already dark, shaping or lamination will change how your brows look far more than colour will.
